1914/15 Star named 204963 G DANN AB RN.
George Dann born 3rd Feb 1884 was a 18 year old errand boy when he enlisted into the Royal Navy as a Boy Second Class on 3rd Feb 1902. When WW1 came he had already done 12 years service as a able seaman and joined the Royal Fleet Reserve on 8th Feb 1914.
He was on HMS Astraea till 30th Apr 1915 help hunt and blockade the SMS Konigsberg. On 1 May till 31st Mar 1919 he was on HMS Challenger which was replaced by Astraea in the invasion of Kamerun. He left the navy on 7th June 1921.
