      1914/15 Star & Victory Medal named 10315 PTE A J GUYATT WILTS R. Comes with named enclosures for campaign medals, and letter from the Army Record Office confirming recipient’s death, newspaper cutting of official war memorial with his name on it, 2 WW1 casualty newspaper cutting with his name on it, one confirming wounded & missing, photo of him in civilian life with bicycle and another in uniform in trench with others eating.

      Alfred Joseph Guyatt was born at Orcheston St George, Shrewton, Wiltshire, and was a Groom. He enlisted into the 2nd Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment numbered 10315 and landed in France on 11th Dec 1914. He was wounded and reported missing, subsequently reported killed in action on the second day of the Battle of Loos on 27th Sept 1915, and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial, Pas de Calais, France.
