1914/15 Star named 4397 PTE T WALMSLEY LAN FUS.Medal has been gilded.Thomas was from Shaw, lancs and landed with the 10th Lancashire Fusilers in France in July 1915. At some time he was transferred to the 3rd battalion and then later on the 16th battalion.It was with the 16th he was Killed in Action at the The Battle of the St Quentin Canal on the 2nd Oct 1918.
