1914/15 Star & Victory Medals named SS108229 F OC R MORRISON STO 1 RN.Fergus was born in 1858 in Alloa, Clackmanshire, Ireland.He joined the Navy in 1909 as a Stoker 2nd Class. In WW1 he was on HMS Argonaut which was stationed off Spains coast when they captured the German Merchant Ship Graecia. He left her in Sept 1915 and joined HMS King Alfred which patrolled around Gibraltar looking for SMS Mowe.He joined HMS Idaho in Oct 1917 a PC ship out of Milford Haven. They were Q Ships.
