1914-15 Star named 3796 PTE C V Frith HAC.
Charles was born in Polsham, lived in Langport and enlisted at Armoury House. London. Serving in the 1st Battalion Honourable Artillery Company (Infantry) numbered 3796. He landed in France on 10 Oct 1915 with the 190th Bde T M Battery. He is listed as being wounded in action on the 4 June 1917 with GSW thigh and back. Sadly on the 9 June 1917 he succumbed to his wounds and died aged. He was buried in the Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun. He was the son of Samuel Stuckley and Mary Frith, of Easton, Wells, Somerset.
