1914/15 Star named 2287 PTE H G HOPPER 12 LOND R and British War & Victory Medals named LIEUT H G HOPPER.
Hugh Gordon Hopper joined the 1/12th London Regiment and landed in France on the 24th December 1914 and fought till he was commissioned on the 16th October 1915. He was put into the 2nd London Regiment and became a Lt in July 1917. He is mentioned again in the LG in Nov 1921 as being granted the rank of Captain and still in the 2nd London Regiment.
