Frederick William Jeanes enlisted into the 6th Lincolnshire Regt numbered 16074. After training he landed in Gallipoli on 15th Oct 1915 as is noted as being wounded (Contused Wrist) and in hospital 20st Jan 1916 on a sick convoy hospital ship Tagus coming into Alexandria, Egypt. Sent to France in July 1916 and then wounded in action and dying from these wounds on 8th Sept 1916 aged 19 years old.
