Edmund Harold Cosier born on 27th July 1887 in Awbridge, Hampshire was an engine driver when he enlisted into the Royal Engineers numbered 20344 before 1911 as he is listed in a 1911 census as a Sapper aged 22 years old in Chatham, Barracks. When WW1 started he landed in France on 5th Nov 1914 with the 15th Field Coy RE. He survived the war and died in Southampton on 11th Aug 1975 aged 88 years old.
