Arthur Everist Foster born 15th May 1880 in Gibraltar was a 15 year old errant boy when enlisted into the Royal Navy on 22nd Aug 1895. He served of many ship but in 1908 when he was on HMS Prosperine he earned his first medal. He left the RN on 17th May 1910 after 15 years service still a Able Seaman.
