British War Medal named R 6237 H MOGG AB RNVR.
Harold Mogg born 10th Aug 1893 and lived in Redditch, Worcestershire enlisted into the Army Reserves on 9th Dec 1815 and then joined the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve with the Anson Battalion on 3rd Sep 1917. He was sent to France with the Anson Battalion on 11th Jan 1918. The battalion were fighting South of Havrincourt village and were under heavy bombardment on the 22nd and 23rd Mar 1918 when Harold was killed in action. He is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
