WW1 British War Medal named M17547 T F GRANT CERA2 RN.
Thomas Fyfe Grant born 5th Mar 1877 in Glasgow and was a mining engineer when he enlisted into the Royal Navy numbered M17547 on 25th Nov 1915. He was immediately made a Chief Engineer Room Artificer and was on HMS Hyacinth in East Africa and HMS Conqueror. On 21st Nov 1918 the ship was at Rosyth for repairs when he fell and was killed due to an accident. He is buried at Glasgow Cemetry.
