British War Medal named 63640 CPL J TAYLOR HAMPS R.
James Taylor born 1885 enlisted into the Hampshire Regiment numbered 63640 and was wounded in action by gun shot wound to thigh. He was sent back to the UK to recover and then transferred to the Labour Corps numbered 106223. He was awarded a pension due to his diability in 1920 when he was living in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
