William George Dean born in Wimborne, Dorset. He enlisted into the Welsh Regiment numbered 51315 and then at some time transferred to the 15th Royal Welsh Fusiliers numbered 54001. William was Killed in Action on 3rd Oct 1916 when the 15th battalion were in the trenches near Ypres Canal. 1 officer and 8 other ranks were killed , 1 officer and 1 other rank wounded.
