British
William Charles Groves born in Liverpool and enlisted into the 9th Kings Liverpool Regiment numbered 332644 and landed in France. He was killed in action on 28th Aug 1918 at Humber Redoubt as the 9th battalion were ordered to attack on that day. The regiment took a lot of casualties suffering 12 officers and 231 other ranks.
The CWGC shows the 5th battalion but that is wrong as the grave registration shows the 9th.
