WW1 British War Medal named 315356 PTE P THOMAS DEVON R.
Percy Thomas lived in Plymouth and enlisted into the 15th Devonshire Regiment numbered 315356 and later on in the war he transferred to the 7th Somerset Light Infantry numbered 204216. On the 16th Aug 1917 they took part in the attack at Langemark. The diary records 4 officers and 33 other ranks killed with 22 missing. Percy was sadly killed on this date and is buried at Poelcapelle British Cemetery aged 35 years old.
