James Thomas Tranter born 1887 in Nelson and living in Stanley Park, Soundwell, Staple Hill, Bristol, enlisted into the 14th Welsh Regiment on 4th Nov 1914. He is listed as wounded in the Western Mail 2nd Sept 1916 and was discharged due to wounds and awarded a Silver War Badge on 28th Aug 1917.
