Bertie Farrow born 1887 served in the TA in 1909 and was called up when WW1 started numbered 369 in the 1/4th Suffolk Regiment. He landed in France with the 2nd Battalion on 27th July 1916 and was wounded in action on 13th Nov 1916 with gun shot wound in chest. He was sent back to the UK to get better on 12th Dec 1916 and stayed in the UK till 12th April 1917 when posted back to France with the 2nd Battalion.
On the 28th Mar 1918 he is reported missing during the German Big push and later confirmed a Prisoner of War in Germany. He is released after the war ended and return to the UK on 14th Jan 1919 before being discharged on 13th April 1919.
