Richard Mordaunt Barrington was born on 23 February 1866, and was appointed Lieutenant in the Hampshire Regiment on 29 August 1885; Captain 19 May 1892. He served in the Burmese Expedition in 1885-87 (Medal with Clasp). He died on 19 July 1909.
