India General Service Medal Burma 1885/7 script named 967 PTE W POTTER 2ND BN L'POOL R.
William Potter was born in 1867 and enlisted into the Liverpool Regiment numbered 963 on 21st Nov 1884. After training he was sent to India to serve in Burma on 15th Feb 1886. He also served in Afghan earning the Afghan Medal clasp Peiwar Kotal.
