Indian Mutiny Medal clasp Lucknow named WM STEPHENS AB SHANNON.
Willaim Stephens born in Dalen Fort, Devonshire on 25th Mar 1830, he was 5ft 6in tall and when he enlisted into the Royal Navy, he was single and a farmer. He left the Royal Navy on 15th Jun 1858. Information taken from HMS Shannon description book 1856-1859, no service papers found.
