WW1 Military Medal named 215 LCPL J ELLINGHAM 10/11 HLD LI.
James Ellingham enlisted into the 10/11th Highland Light Infantry numbered 215 and landed in France after training on 13th May 1915. Awarded the MM with them in the LG 14th Sept 1916, later transferring to the 23rd Lancashire Fusiliers numbered 49673 and then 11th Cameron Highlanders numbered S/43411. He survived the war and was discharged on 27th Mar 1919.
