The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, OBE (Military) Officer’s 1st type breast badge, silver-gilt unnamed as issued, British War & Victory Medals (mid emblem) named LT COL F G TUCKER, WW2 Defence, 1937 & 1953 Coronation Medals all unnamed as issued & Territorial Decoration hallmarked 1919. He was issued duplicate WW1 Pair in 1924. Missing TFWM & CBE (civil).
Frederick George Tucker born in 1883 and educated at Haversham School. Enlisted into the British Army in 1905 with the 2nd Volunteer Rifle Corps as a 2nd Lt aged 21 years old. Mobilised in WW1 as Adjutant with the 2/6th (City of London) London Regiment. Landed in France Jan 1916 as second in command of 2/6th London Regt by now a Major. Mar 1918 seconded to the Labour Corps as Acting Lt Colonel and then Deputy Assistant Adjutant General at General HQ with the Signal Corps. Jun 1919 made a OBE military. MID LG 16th Mar 1919 and awarded Territorial Decoration 14th Jan 1920. He continue serving in the TA by joining the 4th Royal West Kent Regt TA and retired from them around 1933. Made a CBE (civil) as Chairman of the Licensing Authority, South Eastern Traffic Area, Ministry of Transport LG 1st Jan 1953.
