Good very fine and a rare combination.
Kenneth Lee Hayton saw wide-ranging campaign service in Northern Ireland and Iraq. He was one of twelve members of the Royal Air Force of 903 Expeditionary Air Wing Airfield Specialist Mechanical Transport Section awarded the AOC's Commendation from Air Commodore Harwood for their actions on 28 Janaury 2008. When a rocket landed in the car park of Trenchard Lines, Basrah, it caused vast damage to 19 vehicles and they went to offer immediate assistance of fire crews and to prepare for possible future attacks and recovery. Further to that the attack cost the life of Sergeant D. Barwood, a comrade of Hayton; sold together with named boxes of issue for the clasp to GSM, ACSM 2011 and Jubilee 2012, besides Commendation Certificate and Citation, copied reports and a plethora of photographs of his tours and the damage of the rocket attack.
