Tribute Medal from the borough of Portsmouth for service in the Naval Brigades in Boer War.Impressed on back SOUTH AFRICA 1900-01.Medal is stamped Sterling Silver 1900 Birmingham.Issued by Miss Dupree (mayors daughter) at a public banquet on 23rd Sept 1901 where each of the crew of HMS Terrible received a medallion.
