Harry Clover went to Winchester College from 1888 to 1892. He became a 2nd Lt in the 4th Staffordshire Regiment on 26th Jan 1900 and was sent out to South Africa for the Boer War earning the 3 clasps mentioned above, before resigning his commission on 4th April 1908.
