      A rare Medaillie dHonneur en Bronze avec Glaives & Certificate to the RAMC with TFEM.

      1914/15 Star named 1168 LCPL J S DEWAR RAMC, British War & Victory Medal named 1168 PTE J S DEWAR RAMC, Territorial Force Efficiency Medal named 318016 CPL-ASJT J S DEWAR RAMC & French Medaillie dHonneur en Bronze avec Glaives not named & original award certificate of Medaillie d'Honneur avec Glaives named to him.

      James Scot Dewar was born 1893 in Glasgow. He joined up in January 1910 with the 2nd Lowland Field Ambulance RAMC Territorial. He was sent to Gallipoli in June 1915, then to Egypt and Gaza and finally to France in April 1918. The award of the Medaillie dHonneur en Bronze avec Glaives was recorded in the London Gazette on 18th August 1920. A rare award of only 793 issued to all regiments in WW1.
