Herbert Willmott Baker born 1874 in Market Harbrow, Lincolnshire and was a Baker. He had previous service with the 4th Lincolnshire TA Regt. He enlisted into the 2nd Lincolnshire Regt Northern Company 2nd Mounted Infantry numbered 3595 on 20th Apr 1893. In 1895 undertraining he feel off his horse and was injured. He was not a model soldier as his default book is long with drunkness.
He went to South Africa on 22nd Oct 1899 till 14th Sep 1902. He died in service on 15th Jan 1904.
