WW1 Military Medal named 230559 SJT E R LEWIS 10/SHROPS LI.
Edwin Roger Lewis enlisted into the 1st Cheshire Yeomanry numbered 613 and then later transferred to the 10th (Cheshire Yeomanry) Kings Shropshire Light Infantry numbered 230559. The 10th KSLI were formed in Mar 1917 from the Shropshire & Cheshire Yeomanry. He was awarded an MM LG 24th Jan 1919 for the Battle of Amiens.
Edwin was awarded for his service in WW1 MM, Pair & TFWM.
