WW1 Meritorious Service Medal named 308267 PTE E CAREY TANK C.
Edward Carey from Euston enlisted into the 6th Queens Regiment numbered 10863 and landsin France on 20th July 1915. In the LG 28th Jul 1917 he is awarded an MM for Messines, he was presented with his ribbon on 16th Jun 1917. Edward transfers to the Tank Corps numbered 308267 and serves in the 3rd Tank Carriers Battalion and survives the war. He is next sent to South Russia with the British Military Mission and is awarded a rare Russian MSM for his services LG 28th Oct 1920.
