Adam McCulloch born 19th Nov 1856 in Hutchesontown, Glasgow. He was listed as a 14 year old warehouse boy in 1871. Some time later he enlisted into the Royal Scottish Fusiliers numbered 981 and served in South Africa 1879 and then Burma between 1885-1889. Comes with some research.
