Territorial Force Efficiency Medal named 510059 SJT F J COFFEY RE.
Frederick J Coffey enlisted into the Devonshire Regiment numbered 843 and landed in France on 22nd Dec 1914 as a L/Cpl before being transferred to the Royal Engineers numbered 3148 and renumbered 510059. He is next noted as being in hospital with gun shot wounds to left hand slight with the 27th Divisional Signals Royal Engineers. He survived the war and was discharged on 3rd May 1919. He received his TFEM in 1920 Army Orders as a Sjt.
