Victory Medal named 34976 PTE S G DAVEY HAMPS R.
Seymour George Davey born 1886 enlisted into the Hampshire Regiment numbered 34976 on 16th Feb 1917. He landed in France on 6th Mar 1917 and is noted as being wounded in action with gun shot wound right arm. He recovered in France and then was transferred to the 178th Company Labour Corps numbered 106316. He returned to the UK on 10th Oct 1919 and was discharged on 3rd Dec 1919 with a small pension for his injuries. Service papers enclosed.
