Waterloo Medal named *** JAMES GLIN 2ND BATT 69TH REGT FOOT ***. Retaining original steel clip and ring.
Not confirmed on rolls but on musters at hospital. There are three names attached to this soldier - JAMES GLIN on the medal itself, JAMES GLEEN confirmed as killed at Battle of Waterloo by the Welch Regiment Museum (letter included in sale) & JAMES GLINN in the Royal Mint Museum Waterloo Roll but they state it is JAMES GLENN but the roll shows quite clearly its GLINN.
