Frank Rayner Booth born 21st May 1894 in Paddington, London was a electrician when he enlisted into the Royal Navy on 21st May 1912 as a Boy 2nd Class. In WW1 he was on HMS Pyramus till 1st Mar 1916, HMS Juno till 11th Aug 1916, HMS Pyramus again till 25th Aug 1916, HMS Wallington (Waveney & Stour) from 22nd Oct 1916 till 15th Jan 1919. He left the Navy on 26th Aug 1920.
His service record in the National Roll of the Great War records he rendered valuable service in connection with wireless telegraphy in important operations in North Sea and Persian Gulf. He was twice wounded and his vessel was torpedoed in the North Sea.
