WW1 British War Medal named 16102 PTE F G PUTTOCK C GDS.
Frederick George Puttock from Chertsey, Surrey enlisted into the 3rd Coldstream Guards numbered 16102 and served in France during WW1. He was reported missing on 13th Apr 1918 during the Battle of Hazebrouck. The Coldstream Guards played a pivotal role in holding defensive positions to stop the Germans advancing any further. He sadly has no grave and is remembered on thePloegsteert Memorial.
