The soldier was G/20685 Pte Robert Gladman 4th Bn Royal Fusiliers killed in action on 16th August 1917 aged 37.He was the Son of John & Ann Gladman of 16 Princess Street, Heckmondwike, Yorks.He started the war in the 13th Royal Fusiliers from 17th Mar 1916 to 7th Aug 1916, then into the 4th Bn until his death.
