WW1 Memorial Plaque FRANK PARKER BOON.
Frank Parker Boon born in Chelmsford in 1895 enlisted into the Royal Army Service Corps on 4th Jun 1915 numbered T/1785 with the 2/1st London Division T&S Column, HQ Coy ASC. After training he landed in France on 26th Jan 1917 with the 2/3rd Field Ambulance 58 Division ASC as a driver now numbered T4/238389. As he was so close to the sick and dying he caught Broncho-Pneumonia and died of it on 18th Mar 1919 at the 51st Casualty Clearing Station. He is buried at Tournai Communal Cemetery Allied Extension, Belgium.
