WW1 Military Medal named L-8220 SJT C C BURDEN 1/E KENT R.
Christopher Charles Burden lived in Farrersham, Kent and enlisted before WW1 into the East Kent Regiment numbered L/8220. On 18th Aug 1911 he was a Pte in Singapore with the 2nd Battalion and he took part in a competition and was classed as a 1st Class Shot. WW1 he landed with the 1st Battalion in France on 7th Sep 1914 and earned himself an MM LG 23rd Feb 1918 for actions between Oct and Dec 1917.
