British War & Victory Medal named 193329 GNR J WATT RA.
James Watt born 1887 in Dundee was a 30 year old gardener who enlisted into the Royal Field Artillery numbered 193329 on 5th Feb 1917. He was sent to France on 9th July 1917 with B Battery 103 Brigade RFA and then later was sent to Italy. He was wounded in action on 15th June 1918 with gun shot wounds to face and arm. That was the end of his war and he was sent back to the UK to get better before he was discharged on 11th Jan 1919.
