British War & Victory Medals named 608087 PTE A CLARKE 18-LOND R.
Alfred Clarke enlisted into the 18th London Irish Rifles Regt numbered 608087 on 14th Jan 1914. He was sent to war after 1915 as he is only entitled to a pair of medals. The next we know is he was discharged due to wounds on 18th Dec 1918 and issued a Silver War Badge numbered B94007 aged 22 years old.
