British War & Victory Medals named 2094 TWO CL1 F WHITFIELD RAMC, WW2 Defence Medal & War Medal all unnamed as issued & Territorial Efficiency Decoration numbered 1947 on back. Fitted on a bar for wear. Comes with two dog tags named to him and his original minis on a bar to wear.
Frank Brunel Whitfield born 1885 and an elementary school teacher when he enlisted into the Wessex Field Ambulance Royal Army Medical Corps. He was a Transport Warrant Officer 1st Class numbered 2094 & 461337. After WW1 he stayed in the RAMC becoming a Quartermaster & Lt. There appeared in the LG an article confirming he retired in 1924 but it was withdrawn later on. In WW2 he was a Territorial Army Reserve Officer and Special Constable Portsmouth when living at Ryde, IOW.
