      WW2 1939/45 & Burma Star, Defence & War Medal & 1953 Coronation all unnamed as issued & Army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal named 2321715 WOCL2 W H BROOKS R SIGS all mounted on a bar for wear. Comes with his commission papers, an assortment of prize medals for various sporting events dating from 1936-1958, some named to him with other minor miscellaneous badges etc & Pewter tankard, engraved Presented By The Officers 11th Signal Regiment To Capt W. H. Brooks. March 1968.


      William Henry Brooks served in WW2 with the Royal Signals as a Warrant Officer and on 20th Nov 1951 he was made a 2nd Lt. He was quickly promoted to Lt in the Short Service Commission in 1952 and Captain on 20th Nov 1957. He retired on 18th Apr 1968.
