Cecil Francis Fairfoot enlisted into the RAF number 114738 and commissioned 20th Oct 1941. Made Pilot Officer on probation in Dec 1941 and Flying Officer on Probation Oct 1942. Dec 1947 Flight Lt and appointed to Equipment Branch in Jan 1949. July 1952 made Squadron Leader and on administrative staff in June 1961 in the Middle East. Transferred to Bomber Command, High Wycombe June 1963 and retired Aug 1964. He died in Jan 2010 in Menorca, Spain.
